Salih Yoluç seeking title honours as the Blancpain GT Series heads to Spa-Francorchamps

Salih Yoluç has his eyes on the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup title, as he prepares to face the Total 24 Hours of Spa this weekend.

Alongside Oman Racing with TF Sport teammates Charlie Eastwood and Ahmad Al Harthy, Salih took the lead of the Endurance Trophy Pro-Am drivers' championship after a strong showing in Paul Ricard.

The trio have secured three out of three pole positions in the series and target a fourth at the iconic Belgian circuit.

Some misfortune in previous rounds has left Salih without a win in the series this season, but the Turkish driver has collected three out of three podiums to sneak to the top spot of the championship.

Salih and Oman Racing with TF Sport are joined by Aston Martin factory driver, Nicki Thiim, and go to Belgium seeking their first win of the season and overall title honours in a 24-hour race where anything can happen.

Salih Yoluç “I’m really looking forward to going back to Spa-Francorchamps. It’s a fun track to drive and it holds so much history so it’s an honour to be racing there. We go into the weekend with a shot of winning the championship, but anything can happen in 24-Hour races, so we need to keep focused. We were unlucky at previous rounds in Monza and Paul Ricard so hopefully we can get some better luck here.

“I’m excited to be racing with Nicki [Thiim] again, the last time we raced together was in ELMS two years ago and we finished second. I know he will compliment the team and together with Charlie [Eastwood] and Ahmad [Al Harthy] we can challenge for the win.”
